Fatigue and Creep

Fatigue:
Failure of materials under repeated or reversal stress is called Fatigue.
The maximum stress at which the material will operate indefinitely without failure is known as endurance limit or Fatigue limit.

Creep:
The slow and progressive deformation of a material with time at constant stress is called creep.
The ability of material to prevent such deformation usually at high temperature is called creep resistance.
