Joule's Law:
#Joules law,
It states that,
the change of Internal Energy (ΔE) of a perfect gas is directly proportional to
Change in temperature (ΔT)
Mathematically:
ΔE ∝ ΔT
ΔE = mC(ΔT)
ΔE = mC(T2-T1)
m= mass of
gas
c = Specific
Heat
An important
consequence of this law is that, if the
Temperature (T) of a given mass of gas changes from T1 to T2
, then Internal energy(E) will change from E1 to E2, irrespective from changes in pressure(p) and
volume(v) of the gas.
