- Shaft basis system
Hole
basis system:
It is
the combination of various shaft tolerance zone with hole tolerance zone.
In
hole basis system, we do not machine hole, we machine only shaft to achieve the
desired clearance in the fit.
Hole
basis system is preferred from the manufacturing point of view, because it is
more convenient and economical to use.
Shaft
basis system:
It is
the combination of various hole tolerance zone with shaft tolerance zone.
In
hole basis system, we do not machine shaft, we machine only hole to achieve the
desired clearance in the fit.
Most
of the industries do not prefer shaft basis system.
